The St. Francisville Transitory Theatre presents the first annual New Play Festival, featuring staged readings of original plays submitted by local artists.

Prompted by a sudden influx of New Plays by St. Francisville Transitory Theatre members, the company underwent a week long, workshop style production. Plays were submitted by local artists, a play reading committee selected the scripts to be performed, and directors and actors were chosen based on an auditions.

Directors and actors were given six days to rehearse their shows. On June 20 and 21, the actors performed staged readings of their scripts.
